Who am I? My name is Robert Warren and I have been
working within the preservation industry
for over 20 years. During this time
I have served a 5 year apprenticeship in
carpentry and joinery, and have carried out
all aspects of timber and damp remedial works,
before becoming a fully qualified Building
Surveyor. I now hold the CSRT qualification
and have a wealth of experience dealing with
properties of all ages and varying constructional
methods. I have worked for many companies
as well as running a successful business,
I now offer my knowledge and experience in
a fully advisory and independent capacity
for those that wish for a professional unbiased
opinion. What I offer I will for an inspection fee carry out a
personal survey of a property or problem
within a property. I will then provide
a full report and CAD drawing of the areas
of potential faults together with an explanation
of the source of moisture ingress complete
with specifications and material requirements
for your builder or contractor to work to
or provide trained and experienced qualified
operatives to carry out the necessary works.
I also offer a full impartial advice service, which can eliminate confusion and uncertainty when a client is faced with several reports which carry conflicting areas of treatment and advice. I can be also employed to supervise stages of works on site or at your property.
All works and materials specified will be
in accordance with the BWPDA (British Wood
Preserving and Damp Proofing Association)
guidelines. |
